Most people make the mistake of hitting the gym and working so hard that they burn out within a couple of months. The key to success is to find a guide who can help you set your goals and share a plan with you on how to meet them. I will take you through the 3 phases of proper training beginning with core and graduating to strength. Careful planning ensures you make the most of your time and effort without hurting yourself.
My style incorporates Swedish, Thai, Neuromuscular, Shiatsu, Cranio Sacral, Reflexology, Trigger Point and Polarity work. I also do corporate chair massage. The key to a good session is finding a healer who can intuitively work with you based on where you are that day. Since we all change daily we need to be open to different modes of healing on any given day. What works now may not be the best for you next week so be willing to try different techniques.
I believe that we are only ready for yoga when the other parts of our life are ready for what yoga will bring to us. Like life, yoga is truly one’s own journey. How they practice and what they derive from it is determined largely by their willingness to go through the discomfort of meeting a limitation and exploring ways to move through it. That limitation we feel in our stretching is merely the indicator of where our next level of growth begins. Namaste.
